What are the minimum system requirements needed to view this webcast?
The webcast is designed to play with the Flash 9 Player, and will be best viewed with a high-speed Internet connection. You can test your system by viewing our archived Global Emergency Teach-In webcast from 2007. Although you can view the Teach-in webcast using Flash 8, you must have Flash 9 to view the Face It webcast.
Does the webcast have audio? Would you recommend speakers?
Yes, the webcast has audio and will play on your computer's speakers. If you are planning to show the webcast to a group of students, we would recommend additional speakers. Again, use our archived webcast to test your system's capabilities.
Will there be live interaction during the webcast?
No, there will not be live interaction during the webcast.
Can this webcast be viewed in a group session using a projector? Or, does each user need to have their own PC?
The webcast can be viewed in a group session using a projector, and we encourage you to do this whenever possible. Please check with your campus media center to be sure that you have sufficient audio and projecting capability.
Is there a link to a demo webcast, so we can make sure our equipment can properly play the webcast?

The Competitions require a digital camera and/or a video camera. What is the recommended resolution/size for pictures and videos?
Photography and video should be at the highest resolution that student's equipment allows. For photography, however, participants will need to have the ability to create low-resolution "thumbnails" of images to upload. However, be sure to keep a high resolution (300 dpi) copy of the image in case you win!
Maximum file size for photography: 500k
Maximum file size for video: Follow YouTube rules.
Entries must be uploaded to YouTube electronically via their online submission form.
